Covid-19 emergency: indications of Mondo in Cammino and Nadir

The Mondo in Cammino and Nadir cooperatives express full and complete solidarity with all the social and health workers who continue to go regularly to the workplace, to bring their indispensable daily support to the most fragile people.
In this extremely delicate moment, we believe it is more necessary than ever to get all the operators and staff who, in various capacities, refer to the Cooperative Mondo in Cammino and Nadir, correct information on the rules issued hour by hour by the Government and on regional measures, in order to avoid further alarmism, making available to all emails info@mondoincammino.it and info@nadir4assistance.it for requests for information or for various kinds of reports.

With provisions contained in the Prime Ministerial Decree of 4/03/2020 reaffirmed and strengthened by the Prime Ministerial Decree of 09/03/2020 and by the DCPM of 11/03/2019, stringent measures to contain the infection with COVID-19 have been provided, to which is added the orders of the Campania Region 0149619 of March 6, 2020, which governed and declined the application of the aforementioned Decree in public and private residential and semi-residential structures, as well as for outpatient services and home care, to protect staff and users. The rules provide for limitations of collective and individual behavior, so all Mondo staff on the Way and Nadir are invited to comply with them, at a time when we are required, even more, an effort of responsibility and commitment aimed at managing and overcoming this emergency situation, which could reverberate very negatively on all of us, on our operators and our operators and ultimately on the Cooperative.
It should be remembered that the provisions issued do not prevent the performance of ordinary activities, provided that in compliance with the decalogue set out in Annex 1 of the D.P.C.M. recalled, specifying that, where possible, the work should be organized in ways that avoid crowding the premises used for common activities and allow compliance with the minimum interpersonal distance of one meter. It should be borne in mind that the aforementioned regional circular prescribes that every public, private, social, health, social-health structure draws up its own handbook and prophylaxis and monitoring procedures, as well as provides for:

• the regulation of prevention measures for the diffusion of the respiratory tract provided by WHO;
• the methods of support that staff must adopt to ensure that users comply with sanitation;
• measures to contain and drastically limit crowding.

In this case, operators and managers will be responsible for providing indications to users and recommending precautionary and preventive measures to them in accordance with ministerial provisions in favor of users over the age of 65 and with multiple pathologies. We underline the enormous difficulty in finding PPE, which are scarce throughout the national territory, therefore anyone who became aware of suppliers who have the possibility of supplying suitable masks, gloves and detergents communicated it promptly to the writer.

Mondo's central offices in Cammino and Nadir will remain all open to ensure the normal circulation of the information necessary for everyone's work, and will receive external staff reducing the risk of gathering, by appointment and in limited numbers, to protect everyone's health. For those suffering from particular respiratory diseases and problems related to the assistance of family members in a situation of full-blown fragility, not only will the use of current wage integration tools be facilitated, but also the facilitated use of holidays and permits.

TEN BEHAVIORS TO FOLLOW
1. Wash your hands often with soap and water or alcohol-based gel

PREVENT INFECTIONS WITH CORRECT HAND WASHING
1. Use soap (preferably liquid soap) and running water, preferably hot
2. Apply the soap on both palms and rub on the back, between the fingers and in the space under the nails for at least 40-60 seconds
3. Rinse thoroughly with running water
4. Dry your hands if possible with disposable paper, with a clean personal towel or with a hot air device
